Wear a traditional ao dai and shoot it where it looks best: against the old walls, among the lanterns, on the riverside. Choose your outfit, then spend ninety minutes walking the town with your photographer.

Rain or shine
Shoots go ahead in the rain. Umbrellas and wet streets photograph well.
Basic English
Our photographers speak basic English and show you each pose with gestures, so there is nothing to memorise.
It gets hot
In the hot months the old town warms up fast. The early slots are the most comfortable.
Ao dai sizes
Rental ao dai fit up to 70 kg for women and 80 kg for men. Message us first if you need a larger size.

Worried about posing
We are not natural in front of a camera, and it did not matter.
Our photographer showed us exactly where to stand and what to do with our hands. Most of the time we were just walking and talking. The photos look like us on a good day, not like a catalogue.

Worried about delivery time
My photos arrived the next day.
I booked for my last morning in Hoi An and was nervous about waiting weeks for the pictures. The edited set came the day after, with all the other shots as well. I had posted my favourites before my flight home.

Worried about language
Hardly any English needed, even with two small kids.
Our photographer spoke a little English and simply showed us each pose, which worked better than words. The pickup was sorted over chat. She kept the children laughing the whole way.

What should I wear?
For the Old Town and Da Nang packages, bring your own outfit. Light colours stand out against the yellow walls. The Ao Dai and VIP packages include a traditional ao dai.
I have never posed for photos. Is that a problem?
No. Your photographer tells you where to stand and what to do, and most shots are taken while you walk and talk.
When will I receive my photos?
The day after your shoot. You get 25 to 40 edited photos by email, plus all the unedited photos from your session.
Which time of day is best?
Early morning has the quietest lanes and is the coolest time in the hot months, so book 06:00 or 07:30 if you can. Late afternoon has the warmest light. The river is at its best after dusk, which is why the VIP package ends on a lantern boat.
Can I cancel or change my date?
Cancel 24 hours or more before your start time for a full refund of what you paid. Later cancellations are not refunded. You can also change your date or time for free, as often as you need, up to 24 hours before.
