The royal costume is an add-on: embroidered robes and headdresses in the style of the old Vietnamese court, worn for the whole shoot.
Getting dressed
The robes go over light clothes, so the 15:00 shoot stayed comfortable. Wear something thin and bring water: the fabric is warm.

Where we took them
Temple courtyards and old merchant houses suit the costumes best, so the route changes a little. We finished with paper lanterns at the river as the light went gold.
They walked differently in the robes, slower and straighter. The photos look like a film.
